I tried running your code with the following command:
docker-compose -f docker-compose-kafka.yml -f elastic-kibana.yml up

But when Kibana launches, there seems to be no data in elastic search (the new-relic-log is missing) and it displays:
"Couldn't find any Elasticsearch data"
