Yes. I ended up moving on to other projects, and I don't use it at all anymore. As with anything I make, I do so because I intend to use it.

The original PKGBUILD repository is still accessible in the AUR via SSH <ssh://[email protected]/stable-diffusion-web-ui-git> if you want to just clone and build it locally; but in order for someone to become the new maintainer, they need to push a commit to it.

I no longer intend to make use of the PKGBUILD, so I will not be that person: People who actually intend to use it or are already using it should be controlling the project.
