• I've invested time in binderhub, mainly review, but also Rely on docker-image-cleaner in external repo jupyterhub/binderhub#1391 and the extraction of docker-image-cleaner.
• I've worked on review for the JupyterHub 2 beta by implementing it z2jh, there are some known things to resolve already.
  Fix jupyterhub-idle-culler's permissions - our attempted implementation has failed jupyterhub/zero-to-jupyterhub-k8s#2407

• I had my second shot 💉 😉 (and several symptoms, as you know, but doing great by now!)
• Got Enable openscapes (and re-enable farallon) deployment by the CI infrastructure#691 finally merged!
• Making progress in Add documentation about best-practices in deploying hubs on AWS infrastructure#696 (that should finally close Automate hub deployments on AWS infrastructure#647)
• Trying to close Redirecting the test output (to prevent the CI from leaking secrets) is preventing us to get the actual error locally infrastructure#694 with Redirect test output when we are running on the CI infrastructure#712 as well
• Pushed some discussion in Move openscapes to basehub infrastructure#695, thanks @choldgraf for the feedback!
• Helped Ryan with MIME type error for rise.css upstream#50

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

• After 691 was merged AWS deployment failed 😵‍💫
  • Carbonplan is probably broken because Joe activated 2FA and that probably restricted the deployer user to perform the deployment, more details here: How to deal with MFA in our auto deployment CI workflow? infrastructure#713. This one may be problematic in case Joe really wants to have 2FA on the awscli as well, thoughts welcome!
  • Farallon needs to be investigated, last time I deployed manually, it worked OK (maybe flaky test?)
  • Openscapes is a known failure (no dask), should be addressed by Move openscapes to basehub infrastructure#695
  • My idea is to address those on specific issues instead of keeping 647 opened forever 😉

• I also got caught up in a bunch of Toronto support issues, and among other things opened up a community forum post about RStudio versions w/ JupyterHub: https://discourse.jupyter.org/t/psa-latest-rstudio-will-not-work-with-jupyterhub-or-binder-use-r-version-4-0/10957
• I made a bunch of updates to our 2i2c documentation, now at docs.2i2c.org and devops.2i2c.org
• I posted a strategy document for the executablebooks community moving forward (would love comments): [Proposal] Community Strategy for this organization executablebooks/meta#493

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

• My biggest challenges have been around supporting the UToronto and Pilot Hubs because we are missing some infrastructure setup pieces (I wasn't an admin user on the toronto hub, and we don't have grafana for our pilot hubs).

• I'm around all of this week, though my parents are visiting while Claire is away for a work thing this week, so I might have a slightly wonky schedule depending on how needy Leonie (or my parents!) are
