Find an ergonomic way to add asset links fetching from an app's manifest on android and validating it's signature to the public asset links

Starting to look into this myself, has there been any progress on it? Implementations or maybe just some rough design ideas? Maybe something I can help out with

We've have an implementation on our end but hasn't been completely separated in a way we can open source yet. An we got side tracked by the credential exchange and another project. I hope to upstream most of our current progress soon. Either at the end of this week or the beginning of June
