Currently, Universal Android Debloater (UAD) lists apps using their package names (e.g., com.google.android.apps.maps). While this is accurate, it can be confusing for users who might not recognize the app from the package name alone. This creates the risk of disabling or uninstalling an essential app by mistake.

I propose adding a feature to display human-readable app names or descriptions (e.g., "Google Maps") alongside package names. Android devices already show these descriptions in settings or the app drawer, so it should be possible to retrieve this data from APK metadata or system files.

This enhancement would:

  • Make UAD more user-friendly.
  • Help users better identify apps and avoid mistakes.
  • Improve usability, particularly for non-technical users.

What do you think about?
